Get up and running with BuildLog in 5 steps.

Install BuildLog

Open buildlogapp.com/app on your phone. Your browser will prompt you to "Add to Home Screen" — tap it. BuildLog works like a native app, no app store needed.

Works on iPhone Safari, Android Chrome, and any desktop browser.

Create Your First Site

Tap Sites in the bottom menu, then tap Add New Site. Enter a name and optional address. Sites organize your daily reports by job location.

Log Your First Daily Report

Tap the + button in the center of the bottom menu. Select your site, then type or speak your report. Add photos by tapping the camera icon. Tap Submit when done.

Voice reports are automatically transcribed. Just speak naturally about your day.

Try Working Offline

Turn off your phone's wifi and cellular data. Create another report — it will be saved locally. When you reconnect, BuildLog automatically uploads everything.

Reports saved offline appear with an orange badge until they sync.

Export a PDF Report

After submitting a report, tap Export PDF on the confirmation screen. Or go to Settings > Advanced > Exports to batch-export multiple reports as PDF or CSV.
